EU regulation relating to the use of portable electronic devices in "flight mode"
Through a recent bulletin referring to the EU regulation (EU) N"965/2012 to be applied from October 2014, AESA (the European Aviation Safety Agency) supports the use of portable electronic devices (PED) such as tablets or smartphones in "flight mode". In line with this recommendation and in accordance with Luxembourg aviation authorities, Luxair already allows its passengers to use their PED in "flight mode" during cruise phase (PED must however remain switched off during critical phases like take-off and landing).
Laurent Jossart appointed EVP LuxairCARGO
The Board of Directors of LuxairGroup recently appointed Mr Laurent Jossart Executive Vice President LuxairCARGO. Currently CFO of LuxairGroup, he will take up his new post on 1 January 2014.

Luxair places a firm purchase order for an additional Q400 NextGen
In order to improve flight connexions between Luxembourg and the major European cities while enhancing its passenger onboard experience, a further Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft will soon join the Luxair luxembourg Airlines' fleet.
Luxair Luxembourg Airlines extends its network
Dublin, Lisbon and Stockholm will complete the Luxair Luxembourg Airlines network in the summer 2014 flight schedule, whereas frequencies to Porto and Copenhagen will be increased from November 2013 and March 2014.
