Advanced Passenger Information

Since 2009, the UK government has reinforced border controls by recording the data of passengers on arrival in or departure from the United Kingdom via the API system (Advanced Passenger Information).

If you are travelling to the United Kingdom, you must provide the following data BEFORE boarding your flight:

Type of travel document (passport or national identity card)
Full name (given names as on passport or national identity card)
Gender
Date of birth
Nationality
Travel document number and expiry date
Country of travel document issuance
Country of residence

You may provide this information prior to boarding via traditional travel agencies, during online reservation via the website www.luxair.lu, during online check-in (web check-in) or during check-in at the desks available at Luxemburg Airport and London City.
