The Mudam

The Mudam – 10 years at the forefront of modern art

This July, the Mudam (Musée de l’Art Moderne) celebrates its 10th anniversary. In a unique setting among the ruins of an ancient historical fort in the heart of Luxembourg’s Kirchberg, the museum conceived by Chinese-Amercian architect Ieoh Ming Pei, links the historical past of the city to the unconfined thoughts and emotions of today’s very best modern artists. The latter are called into being by countless stunning modern art exhibitions seeking to inspire and to push boundaries. It is thus no surprise, that for the celebration of the 10th anniversary, the Mudam called upon Wim Delvoye, one of modern art’s emblematic figures, to install an exhibition on his own work.
