São José dos Campos – Brazil, December 17, 2024 – Luxair, flag carrier of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, has signed a firm order with Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; B3: EMBR3) for two E195-E2; the most efficient aircraft in the single aisle segment. The E195-E2 small narrowbody aircraft will complement the larger narrowbody aircraft the airline has on order.

To brighten up the festive season and support important causes, Luxair is launching its new Christmas collection, featuring “ugly Christmas sweaters” and matching socks. Boeing and Luxair announced today the European regional carrier is again ordering a new member of the 737 MAX family to power its sustainable growth. A year after purchasing the 737-7 and 737-8 models, Luxair has now placed an order for two 737-10 airplanes with options for two more. 60 years later: 2022 is the year of recovery and expansion of Luxair
Despite the turbulence caused by the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic in the beginning of the year followed by the increase in energy and fuel prices, 2022 turned out to be a brighter year than 2021, allowing Luxair to welcome more passengers and to expand its destinations’ portfolio. -
Following a meeting held on Friday, 28 April 2023, Luxair's Board of Directors has confirmed the purchase of two additional Boeing 737-8.

Following its Board of Directors’ meeting on Friday, 3 March, Luxair is pleased to announce the purchase of two Boeing 737-8 aircraft to be delivered in 2026. Meanwhile, as a bridge solution, Luxair will temporarily lease from Boeing two other 737-8 which will be operated by its own crews, until the delivery of new aircraft.
