Luxair X Télévie

Support Télévie by making a donation when booking your flight ticket

Once again, this year, Luxair supports Télévie and organizes a series of actions encouraging its employees and customers to show the greatest solidarity. As the national airline, Luxair is mobilizing to raise a maximum of funds to advance the fight against cancer so that life can prevail over disease.

Organized in partnership with the Kiwanis Foundation Luxembourg and RTL Luxembourg since 2002, the Télévie charity operation works to raise funds to support scientific research in the fight against cancer and leukemia amongst children and adults. As every year, the Télévie family is looking forward to seeing you at its closing evening, which this year will take place on the 7th of May. For this occasion, the entire amount raised will be donated to the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (F.R.S.-FNRS) which organizes the evaluation of scientific projects submitted to Télévie.

You too can participate and support Télévie by making a small donation to support research when booking your flight tickets or via "Manage My Booking".

Télévie: The missions

Fund research: Since 2002, more than 25 million euros have been raised for the fight against cancer to fund researchers and research projects.

Save lives: Thanks to the discoveries made by researchers and technological progress, patient mortality has decreased considerably. Today, more than 90% of children with leukemia are cured, compared to 20% 30 years ago!

Talking about cancer: Cancer is no longer a taboo but an accessible and understandable subject. Thanks to its media coverage, especially through Télévie, the public is increasingly aware and the disease is better understood.
