After a summer marked by a strong desire for travel, Luxair and its tour operator, LuxairTours continue their development and introduce optimisations of their flight plan for winter 2022, always with the aim of offering more flexibility to their customers looking for “winter sun” weekends and getaways. The airline does not stop there and is already planning two new destinations for summer 2023!
Renaissance, future, tradition ... so many illustrations tell the story of Luxair' on its new special livery. Drawn by the Luxembourgish artist Marco Weiten, this mix of colors represents the indisputable Luxembourgish symbol Roude Léiw which rises from its ashes like a phoenix, to celebrate the 60 years of Luxair.

From Monday, 16 May 2022 and in accordance with the new recommendations of the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), wearing a mask will no longer be compulsory on board Luxair flights to Luxembourg. While more and more European countries are easing health restrictions for children entering their territory, the health authorities in Luxembourg with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintain, at least until 15 July, the obligation to test all children returning to Luxembourg only by air, from the age of 6. Faced with this situation, the ULAV (Union Luxembourgeoise des Agences de Voyages) and Luxair are launching a joint appeal to think more about minor children accompanying their fully vaccinated parents.
