Born the first of June 1976 in Luxembourg, Gilles Feith has always been passionate to work with motivated people to help move things in the right direction. He has a wide expertise in new technologies. Result-oriented, he held various management positions in the private and public sectors until he became Director of the Government IT Center in 2014 and First Government Counselor to the Minister of Defense in 2019. Seeking a new challenge, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Luxair in June 2020, in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis.
Alberto Kunkel, born in 1962 in Porto-Alegre (Brazil) began his career with TAP, the national Portuguese flag carrier 1987 as Operations Agent and Deputy station Manager. During his 2 years with TAP, he assumed positions in three different cities, Munich, Hamburg and Vienna (Austria).
In 1989, he joined Air-France's German operations as District Sales Manager for Southwest Germany. He then steadily rose through the ranks over the next 9 years, to become Director of Sales, Central Germany.
In 1999, he is in search of new challenges and joins Luxair as Assistant Vice-President Sales and Marketing for the Airline and Tour operator. Once again, Alberto Kunkel rises through the echelons at Luxair and is holding today the position of Executive Vice-President Tour Operating.
Marc Schroeder, born in 1964, started his career as Treasurer of the ARBED Group from 1989-1994 based in Luxembourg.
In 1995, looking for an international challenge, he moved to the United States as CFO and VP Strategy of TrefilARBED Arkansas, Inc., a manufacturing company of the ARBED Group in the US.
From 2001-2003, he joined the Arcelor Corporate Controlling team based in Luxembourg and in charge of Long Steel products on a worldwide basis.
In 2004, he was named General Manager Finance & Legal of the Wire Products division of the ArcelorMittal Group with operations in Europe, the US & Asia.
Seeking a new challenge, Marc Schroeder joined Luxair in 2014.
Martin Isler, born in 1956, began his career in the tourism sector.
He joined Luxair in 2005 after having pursued a successful career serving Swissair, Sabena and later Swiss International Airlines Ltd for over 20 years where he occupied positions such as Marketing Managing Director and VP Sales & Market Development. He lastly filled the position of Executive Vice-President Network & Strategy with Swiss.
From July 2005 to June 2019, he held the position of Executive Vice-President Airline.
As of July 2019, he exclusively focuses on his duties as Accountable Manager Airline.
Until October 2019, he was also Vice-President and dedicated member of the ERA (European Regions Airline association) board for more than 10 years.
