Real stories from the Hangar

Maggy Aircraft technician x Janette mag

"I enjoy the dynamic and challenging nature of my job, where precision in every detail is essential. Working on the line, solving technical problems, and finding solutions to ensure that the aircraft is safe for our crew and passengers to travel the world and reunite with their families is a great source of pride and satisfaction for me and all of us at Luxair Technics.

(...) I took the industrial machinery mechanics course at the Lycée Emile Metz so that I could later do the aeronautical mechanics course (...). For two years, I was able to attend classes three days a week, alternating with two days a week at Luxair. I was then able to get a job with the company".

Marco Paini AT

"After more than 22 years in aviation, specializing in the Boeing 737 and structural work, I thought I had experienced everything the professional world had to offer.

Yet, taking on this new challenge reminded me how powerful it is to be part of a team where professionalism is truly respected and human connection still matters.

It reignited my passion and reminded me why I chose this path in the first place."

Marco Paini

Amine Luxair Aircraft technician

"I joined the Luxair Apprenticeship Program for Aircraft Technicians because my uncle, who works for Luxair Catering, always spoke highly of the company.

From day one, I was working hands-on with different types of aircraft.

What really convinced me to stay after the program was the amazing team spirit — my co-workers made it feel like the right place to build my future."

Amine Kasmi

Luxair Aircraft Technician quote

"What drew me to the Luxair Apprenticeship Program for Aircraft Technicians was the chance to work with such a diverse and modern fleet.

From day one, I was getting hands-on experience working on real, operating aircraft — not just theory.

Every day brings something new, and that constant challenge is what keeps me motivated."

Milan Knezevic

David Luxair Aircraft technician

"I chose Luxair because I knew people who had worked there as aircraft technicians and shared great experiences.

At Luxair, you get to work on real aircraft early in the program, which gives you hands-on experience that really matters.

What I enjoy most is the sense of community — Luxair values its employees, and you're treated as a person, not just a number."
