Day 1: Exploring Dubrovnik
Upon arrival at Dubrovnik Airport, you can easily reach the Old Town by shuttle bus or taxi. Once settled, start your day with a coffee along the famous Stradun, the main street of the Old Town. Sit at a terrace café and take in the lively atmosphere and beautiful stone architecture.
Next, immerse yourself in the charm of the Old Town (Stari Grad), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its marble-paved streets, browse artisan shops, and visit iconic landmarks such as the Rector’s Palace, the Cathedral of the Assumption, and the Franciscan Monastery with its medieval pharmacy.
For lunch, choose a local restaurant tucked into the historic center’s narrow streets. Savor Dalmatian specialties like grilled seafood, black risotto made with cuttlefish ink, or a fresh octopus salad.
In the afternoon, walk along Dubrovnik’s famous city walls. This panoramic stroll offers breathtaking views of the terracotta rooftops and the Adriatic Sea. Take your time to enjoy the scenery and capture beautiful photos.
At the end of the day, take the cable car up Mount Srđ for an unforgettable sunset overlooking the city and nearby islands.
In the evening, Dubrovnik comes alive. Enjoy a romantic dinner on a terrace, then explore the hidden bars within the city walls or along the seaside for a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere.
Day 2: Adventure and Relaxation
Start your second day with a morning walk to Fort Lovrijenac, an impressive fortress perched on a cliff above the sea. This iconic site offers unique views of the city walls and coastline.
Next, take a short boat trip to Lokrum Island, located just minutes from Dubrovnik. Stroll through its botanical gardens, visit the ruins of a former Benedictine monastery, or swim in its peaceful coves. For lunch, choose a seaside restaurant in Lapad or near the harbor, with views of the Adriatic. Fresh fish and Croatian wines are highly recommended.
In the afternoon, relax at Banje Beach, just steps from the Old Town, or enjoy a scenic walk along the Lapad Peninsula for a quieter moment surrounded by nature.
Before heading home, wander once more through the Old Town’s charming streets to pick up souvenirs such as handmade crafts, local olive oil, or Croatian lavender products.
