Luxair INSTANT UPGRADE - Terms and Conditions

1. Luxair INSTANT UPGRADE - Terms and Conditions

1.1 The following terms and conditions (the Terms and Conditions) shall apply to the Instant Upgrade option (Instant upgrade) provided by Luxair, Société Luxembourgeoise de Navigation Aérienne S.A., a public limited liability company (société anonyme) incorporated and existing under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, having its registered office at 25 rue Gabriel Lippmann, L-5365 Munsbach, with postal address at L-2987 Luxembourg, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number B 4109 (Luxair) for an opportunity to upgrade from the economy class that was originally purchased by you to business class.

1.2 All persons entitled to this Instant upgrade option must have reached the legal age of majority in their country of residence.

2. Conditions of sale

2.1 INSTANT UPGRADE is available for passengers booking economy class tickets with Luxair. Passengers will be notified during online check in of the possibility to purchase INSTANT UPGRADE option.

2.2 INSTANT UPGRADE is available only on flights operated by Luxair (meaning Luxair Airline not Luxair Tours’ flights) and with sufficient seats available.

2.3 Vouchers and other forms of payment not provided for in these Terms and Conditions cannot be used to pay the INSTANT UPGRADE option.

2.4 It is Luxair's sole and absolute discretion to offer or remove INSTANT UPGRADE on Luxair’s flights, in which case the Instant upgrade product initially purchased by the passenger will be refunded.

2.5 INSTANT UPGRADE is available to passengers between 24 and 8 hours prior to scheduled flight departure time. A confirmation email will be sent to passengers after having purchased the INSTANT UPGRADE option.

2.6 INSTANT UPGRADE is not transferable to another person.

2.7 Passengers (i) who already purchased a special meal service with an economy ticket, (ii) who are part of a group booking, (iii) with pre-defined special services are not eligible to the INSTANT UPGRADE option.

3. Refunds

3.1 No refunds will be issued, unless one of the following conditions apply:

a. a. You were not able to benefit from the INSTANT UPGRADE option for reasons attributable to Luxair including but not limited to safety or security reasons, overbooking, change of aircraft, but excluding reasons attributable to your actions.

b. b. Your flight is cancelled by Luxair and Luxair re-accommodates you onto another flight without benefiting from the INSTANT UPGRADE option.

3.2 Refunds will be processed in the currency in which the payment was made and to the payment card used for the payment of INSTANT UPGRADE.

3.3 Subject to article 3.1, refunds will be issued automatically within a few days. If this is not the case, to request a refund, you shall contact Luxair via our web Contact form: https://www.luxair.lu/en/contact or Call Center +352 2456-1. To make such request, you shall provide your last name and the booking confirmation number.

3.4 If you already paid for your seat reservation, meal, baggage or any other service valid in Economy Cabin (Online Seat Reservation) for an originally purchased Luxair ticket, the amount paid for these services will not be refunded.

4. Miscellaneous

4.1 Luxair reserves the right to modify and otherwise change these Terms and Conditions at any time in its sole discretion.

4.2 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire and only understanding between the parties, and replace any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) relating to the subject matter hereof.

4.3 The failure of Luxair to exercise any of its rights shall not be construed as a waiver or relinquishment of the future performance of any of its rights, and your obligations with respect to such future performance shall continue in full force and effect.

4.4 If any clause contained in these Terms and Conditions becomes void, unenforceable or prohibited in any jurisdiction, this will not affect the validity and enforceability of the other clauses in these Terms and Conditions, or of these same clauses in other jurisdictions. In such cases, Luxair and you agree to replace the clause that is void, unenforceable or prohibited with a valid, enforceable clause in the spirit of the original.

4.5 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Luxembourg. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg, for settlement of any dispute which might arise as a result of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions shall be read in conjunction with our General Conditions of Carriage, Security and Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Luxair EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER Offer Terms and Conditions

1. Luxair EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER Offer Terms and Conditions

1.1 The following terms and conditions (the Terms and Conditions) shall apply to the EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER Service (the EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER) provided by Luxair, Société Luxembourgeoise de Navigation Aérienne S.A., a public limited liability company (société anonyme) incorporated and existing under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, having its registered office at 25 rue Gabriel Lippmann, L-5365 Munsbach, with postal address at L-2987 Luxembourg, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number B 4109 (Luxair) for an opportunity to travel comfortably without anyone sitting next to you.

1.2 All persons entitled to this EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER Service must have reached the legal age of majority in their country of residence.

2. Conditions of sale

2.1 Luxair EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER is available for passengers booking economy class tickets with Luxair. Passengers will be notified by email or during online check in of the possibility to purchase EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER .

2.2 EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER is available only on flights operated by Luxair and with sufficient seats available.

2.3 Vouchers and other forms of payment not provided for in these Terms and Conditions cannot be used to pay the EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER.

2.4 It is Luxair's sole and absolute discretion to offer or remove EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER on Luxair’s flights, in which case the Neighbour free Service initially purchased by the passenger will be refunded.

2.5 EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER are available to passengers between 24 and 2 hours prior to scheduled flight departure time. A confirmation email will be sent to passengers after having purchased EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER.

2.6 EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER is not transferable to another person.

3. Refunds

3.1 No refunds will be issued, unless one of the following conditions apply:

a. You were not able to seat in the assigned seat for reasons attributable to Luxair but not limited to safety or security reasons, overbooking, change of aircraft, but excluding reasons attributable to your actions.

b. Your flight is canceled by Luxair and Luxair re-accommodates you onto another flight in the original seat without EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER.

3.2 Refunds will be processed in the currency in which the payment was made and to the payment card used for the payment of EXTRA SEAT BLOCKER.
