  • Luxair is entering a new chapter with the assembly of its very first Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, the inaugural step in a long-term fleet renewal programme. The aircraft is now in the final stages of production at Embraer’s facility in São José dos Campos, Brazil, and is scheduled for delivery to Luxembourg before the end of the year. Passenger operations are expected to commence in January 2026.

  • São José dos Campos – Brazil, December 17, 2024 – Luxair, flag carrier of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, has signed a firm order with Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; B3: EMBR3) for two E195-E2; the most efficient aircraft in the single aisle segment. The E195-E2 small narrowbody aircraft will complement the larger narrowbody aircraft the airline has on order.

  • Boeing and Luxair announced today the European regional carrier is again ordering a new member of the 737 MAX family to power its sustainable growth. A year after purchasing the 737-7 and 737-8 models, Luxair has now placed an order for two 737-10 airplanes with options for two more. The 737-10 is the largest model in the MAX family and provides the best economics of any single-aisle jet.
