Special assistanceOn Luxair flight, passengers can carry a funeral urn as cabin baggage taking into consideration the following elements:
- Death and Cremation Certificate is available and to be presented at check-in
- Urn cannot be of metallic nature due to screening purposes
- Dimensions should be compliant with LG Cabin Baggage Policy
- Ensure that the urn is packed in a neutral outer package that will protect the urn from breakage and spillage.
Due to the process to follow at the airport with authorities, it is highly recommended for the passengers to be present at least 2 hours before the departure of the flight and go to a check-in desk counter for assistance.
If the passenger would like to carry as checked baggage (not in the cabin but in the hold of the aircraft), special approval from Luxair is necessary, please contact LG Customer Service Center at (+352) 2456-1.
